Engine Mounts to fit OM606 or OM605 Engine into Land Rover Vehicles

These bespoke Engine mounts make the install of your OM Motor a piece of Cake in your Land Rover

On 300tdi kits, there is a small tab that needs welding to your chassis that locates simply where your existing passenger side engine mount usually locates. This moves the engine mount forward to clear the alternator. Beyond that its a case of bolt these to your OM engine and in it goes straight in. 

Our universal kit is a perfect simple way to mount your OM engine into almost any chassis. It utilises the exact same 300tdi engine rubbers like all of our kits, so no need for those old 200tdi style that are prone to fail. This kit requires both existing chassis engine mount brackets to be removed from the chassis and the new ones supplied welded on. It’s really easy. After you have removed the old mounts from the chassis simply bolt the engine to the gearbox with all of the new mounts bolted to the engine with the rubbers but leaving off the weld on plinths supplied, then lower your engine to the correct location bolt the plinths to the rubbers,  they nicely touch the chassis at either side and weld on. Allow a little extra for rubber compression. 
We advise taking a measurement of the handbrake drum angle in relation to the flat of a chassis, this means you can get your prop shafts back at the correct working angle. Don’t worry if you haven’t already done it, simply measure a friends Landrover lucky there all the same.
